another funny story

was entering the university bookstore when i saw a girl whom i knew was going to beijing center next semester.

mel: 'hi amy! how's the beijing application going? all done?'

'amy': 'oh...i am actually going to dusseldorf. it's all done. my sister's the one going to beijing center.'

mel: *bewildered look*

'amy': 'that's my sister!'
*pointing at another girl who looked exactly like her a meter away*

'amy #2': 'yeah, i am going to beijing center. my name is courtney by the way.'

mel: 'ooopsss...sorry, courtney! so what's your name?'
*offering a handshake to 'amy'*

'amy': 'i'm kristin. we're twin sisters.'

i was definitely caught off-guard. here are 2 identical twins, both going to different study abroad programs. (unlike 2 other twins i've dealt with) this little matter actually makes me smile and forget about all my burdens for the next 1 week.

i'm glad that i'm easily excited over simple things.
